Summer may be over but, I think the garden still has some magic yet to come.
There is still a few phlox blossoms.
The roses have rallied and have decided to do an encore.
They are scattered here and there throughout the garden...
Not enough blooms for an impressive show, but when gathered into a bouquet
they are still quite presentable.
The sedum have begun to flower.
Once fresh and white, the hydrangeas are now pink and brown-spotted, but they are still beautiful.
Yes, I think the fall garden still holds some magic for us yet.

Hi Jennifer! (Your link on May Dreams Garden takes me to the April GBBD.) I absolutely love the fairy touch in these photos. Your colors for September have a painter's pastel hue to them. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat fairy has been sprinkling lots of beautiful flower dust everywhere. Your fall garden blooms are wonderful, and I just loved your gorgeous Rose bouquet.
ReplyDeleteSuch romantic pictures! Beautiful. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, i bet you clicked the old title at first and not able to undo it, haha, sometimes it happens to me too! I looked at all the older ones and they are beautiful too, here the shots are stunning as well. But the fairy touch makes the difference, love it! I wonder how you did it though!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, It was a mix of some garden magic and Photoshop wizardry.
DeleteTo me it is also amazing how many flowers are still bringing color into the garden.
ReplyDeleteLovely bouquets and wonderful photo's.
Have a great weekend Jennifer.
The roses are beautiful - and I now believe in faeries!!

The roses are just beautiful. It is so nice to have them in the garden when everything else is done.

There's certainly magic in your pictures! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBye,
enjoy the weekend,
Marian
It always amazes me how the most delicate flowers give us such happiness this time of year. Love the faerie waving her wand Jennifer. Beautiful, enchanting roses.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs, such views always enrapture. I am greeting
ReplyDeleteHey Jennifer - that Fairy had me doing a double-take :) Such a cute touch. And your roses in a vase are like a painting. Just superb. Repeat-bloomers are big in my garden too as are the annuals. Don't you love the cooler nights? Not that i want summer to end, but just one frost and all our leaves will start turning colour. I love autumn. Thank you again for fabulous photographs. They are truly an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! Your bouquets are stunning! I really like the shots above and their vintage charm! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer. I love that white pitcher - this reminds me to plant more old world roses again, plus they make great jam!
ReplyDeleteAnd, what a lot of magic you have! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe all need a little fairy dust to keep our flowers blooming. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteI like your rose bouquet, beautiful! It's all together a very romantic post especially with that Fairy, that makes me dreaming.
ReplyDeleteWow beautiful photos! What camera do you use?? I so need to invest in a decent camera...
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty photos Jennifer. Love your bouquets of roses. Roses with water droplets are the best.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, the photos of your roses are lovely--they have an antique look to the images, which I love. I'm terribly envious of your roses--our garden is extremely shady, and I have one tiny patch of sun where I have a few sentimental rose bushes. The image of your hydrangea is also gorgeous--I actually prefer when the hydrangeas start turning brownish-pink. I just began following your site, and I look forward to many return visits to your garden. (BTW-- I love the name of your blog. I'm constantly wondering how to teach our pups to coexist with our gardens!) Happy Bloom Day to you!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of the Sedum.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures as usual - funny how the roses have taken to flowering a second time this year some of mine are having a second flush which they never have before - not that I'm complaining.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is indeed magical, Jennifer! A little fairy dust always helps, too:) Lovely post!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful garden. Lovely flowers and very nice blog too. Perfect. Nicely done. Thanks!
