Early in May, I had the pleasure of attending a special preview event showcasing new plant introductions arriving at Loblaw Co. Ltd. garden centres this spring. The event proved to be a wonderful opportunity to meet with other garden writers, talk to growers and get an advance look at what was new for 2013.
Best of all, there was a selection of new plants available for attendees to take home and trial in their own home gardens.
Wishing to share a little of that excitement with readers I asked Loblaw Co. Ltd. if I might have a couple of gift certificates to give away in a draw and they generously agreed.
My son's new girlfriend helped me pick two names from my little floral draw box. The two winners of a $25 dollar President's Choice gift card are Heather of New House, New Home, New Life and Kelly M. Congratulations ladies! With all the interesting plant introductions, I know you are going to have lots fun choosing something for your gardens.
