Aargh! No Internet Service!

I am sorry there has been no new posts this week. The all important cable linking our home to the world of the internet came down on Sunday and has been lying in the front yard ever since. Numerous calls to Roger's Wireless to expidite the repair has only resulted in a fresh batch of grey hairs. It is hard to imagine worse customer experience than that which we have experienced.

I am typing away at the public library for now. Hopefully, the Three Dogs in a Garden blog and I will be back online in the next few days....

  2. And we thought you got zapped by the Solar flares. Good luck with the cable company.

  3. If they only knew you were broadcasting your experience with their poor service all over the internet - I bet they would get it fixed asap!

  4. I understand the frustration of no internet. We had a hard time getting ours when we first moved here.

  5. Our provider recently 'improved' our service and it has been dropping out with increasing frequency ever since. It usually waits until I am in the middle of something important.

  7. I can believe how frustrating the situation must be. It's at such times we realise our total dependence on the Internet. I sincerely hope Roger gets his act together soon!

  9. I wondered where you had been! When we hooked up our internet the discussion was which was the least horrible one to deal with. Unfortunately none of them have the best reputations and for good reason. Hang in there and hopefully someone will come to your aid soon.

  12. Kinda timely. Our internet went down last night for no apparent reason. An hour and a half on the phone to their support service and trying this, that and the other with no success resulted in them sending a tech to our home today (Sunday). It was not an easy fault to diagnose, let alone fix, and he was here for over an hour. It has been so frustrating but after reading your experience I have no complaints about the service whatsoever (Vodafone!!).
