Humber Nursery is having its annual parking lot sale. There are lots of bargains to be had including Japanese Maples regularly priced at over three hundred dollar for just $99. I not only managed to take a peek at the trees and shrubs on sale, I also got a little assistance with my latest book giveaway from one of the very friendly staff overseeing the big sale.
I put all the names in my little floral draw box and Harleen drew Lavender Cottage as the winner of the book Cooking with Flowers. Congratulations Judith! I will be in touch shortly to get your address so I can get the book off to you in the mail.
Now if only I could figure out how to get a full sized Japanese Maple home in my little red Toyota....
