I think that gardeners are more sensitive about the nature and more vigilant. Being a gardener is a good way of life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-89849604414512377312017-04-23T17:19:32.929-07:002017-04-23T17:19:32.929-07:00Thanks Lee, I am touched you enjoyed my little bir...Thanks Lee, I am touched you enjoyed my little bird story.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00116583212813729057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-79732058414360054362017-04-23T17:18:31.623-07:002017-04-23T17:18:31.623-07:00Thanks for adding in a teacher's perspective o...Thanks for adding in a teacher's perspective on my little story. I do think that kids need to learn and interact with nature more. The idea of allowing a child to identify with and understand an animal appeals to my creative imagination. Who knows maybe there is a children's book in that mind of mine. Thanks so much for the encouragement.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00116583212813729057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-15787245837116757502017-04-23T15:24:59.079-07:002017-04-23T15:24:59.079-07:00Thanks Rose! Life is so beautiful and fragile and this really makes you think about the mysteries of nature. It is moving to experience the art of a Robin creating its next and the sounds of baby birds to follow. Your story is heartwarming.Lee@A Guide to Northeastern Gardeninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15208392136967108192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-71711729164956793372017-04-21T09:02:40.822-07:002017-04-21T09:02:40.822-07:00This would make a beautiful children's story. ...This would make a beautiful children's story. I know the children I teach would enjoy it very much. Even children are aware of and know the perils that accompany life in nature. The cold snap in the spring is talked about as just another one of the challenges of Mother Nature (believe me, we talk about this in our need to be prepared in our dress for wild swings in temperatures) and we talk about the food chain, too. Children these days need so much to learn about nature. Too many of them spend their time at home behind a digital screen of some sort and are not even able to identify a Robin. 😔

I so enjoy when the robins return!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08589953962933497017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-32129580117565086282017-04-21T06:16:48.665-07:002017-04-21T06:16:48.665-07:00So sweet!
