They are so beautiful and I've heard of people training them to eat out of their hand. I did something similar this year, placing a pink hydrangea next to the orange daylilies and now I think I might move the spirea to the same location after seeing your photos!Margueritehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14377516887669269657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-63330430746317277932010-12-17T07:57:00.461-08:002010-12-17T07:57:00.461-08:00I've enjoyed your colour essay #2. Now come Autumn, I love all the oranges, reds and yellows and actually look forward to seeing those colours painting our landscape. When I look at your photos I then question why I don't use Orange when gardening because it does look so pretty! I hope you have a fantastic weekend!Lisa ~Suburban Retreat~https://www.blogger.com/profile/10119349730386156556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7116278351699614429.post-73892015828587929262010-12-17T07:31:33.579-08:002010-12-17T07:31:33.579-08:00Orange was a surprise to me when I started using i...Orange was a surprise to me when I started using it in the garden (Geums, Blackberry lilies, Heleniums, Asclepias), and I couldn't believe how wonderfully the juicy color plays with others.
