Is it ever to cold to go out into the garden?

My chorus of three bark their answer in unison, "Are you kidding? It is never to cold to go out in the garden!"

"All you need is the right coat to wear. Come on already, let's pay ball!"

Can you tell who likes to hog the ball?

To all my good blogging friends, I hope that Santa remembers you well and that you and your family have a truly wonderful Christmas!

  2. Oh my goodness, how sweet, Jennifer. I love the puppy pictures. I do like your frozen birdbath photo too on a gardening note, but dogs are my favorite things in the whole world and your images are so cute with all those paws prints decorating the snow.Very pretty dogs all dressed in their holiday finest. I so miss mine at this time of year. Merry Christmas to you all,

  4. Sometimes I think a dog would be nice just for this reason, they'll drag you outside whether you want to or not! Such happy animals you have. Merry Christmas and best wishes in the new year.

  10. I asked my dogs this question and was told yes!, yes, and no, no, no! Perhaps if they had the same amount of fur as yours, the two dissenters woud have different answers!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!

  13. Jennifer,
Spotted your blog on mysisterdalesgarden. It's just lovely with all the beautiful photos. I blog as well at www.nancyspoint.com. My topics are breast cancer and loss, but I also cover dogs quite a bit since I'm a big dog lover. Hope you can stop by some time. Again, love the pictures.

  15. There are days, here in Manitoba, that my Three Little Bears just look at me from the foyer and go 'No, thanks!'. But Blaze, the Border Collie, is always ready to go! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  17. Yes, it has been too cold to go out in the garden, if you are of the human kind but never for these four-legged, fluffy, fun guys! Just look at how handsome they all look with those very cool scarves! And they're all smiling! I absolutely love seeing happy dogs and your boys look right in their element! Wishing you the happiest of holidays! It has been nice 'getting to know you' these past few months! I really enjoy visiting your blog; always beautiful sights to behold and I usually come away having learned something new! All the best for 2011!

  19. So cute! When it's cold outside at my house, my dogs get all the more frisky and my garden gets utterly trampled. Wish we could have a spot of snow! Happy holidays!

  23. Hi,
I have 3 dogs in my garden too! Was just telling TS about how they are the keepers of my garden - they keep messing up everything there. But we can't do without them, can we?
Your fotos are fantastic - the one of the koi in the pond is unbelievable. I can't get my fish to look 1/10th as clear as yours. Will be checking in on your blog again soon!
Have a great new year ahead,
    Rosie

  26. Oh, goody, goody, goody - a post featuring the Three Dogs! Des & I have been scouring this blog - I was beginning to think it was all a ruse to attract readers...as I KNOW we canines do that all on our own!

Anyway, I'm so pleased to have seen all your dogs now and I have to admit, that even though I'm a jolly handsome fellow, yours are right up there with the best lookers, too!

I do love their scarves - where do you buy those? I want Des to order three for us!

OK, now Des wants to READ your post - she insists I've gazed long enough at your dogs & has told me to head outdoors for a swim. The Sheps are out there now!

Love Heathcliff (from Driftwood Ramblings) xxx
